Sports clubs will be created in 26 rural schools of the Stavropol Territory under the national project “Education” in 2021, TASS reports with reference to the press service of the Head of the region.
The Governor of the region, Vladimir Vladimirov, held a meeting on the implementation of national projects in the Stavropol Territory. At the meeting, it was decided to implement one of the regional projects “Success of Every Child” as part of the “Education” national project. The development of the sports infrastructure of rural schools in the Territory is already underway. In 2021, federal subsidies will be spent on the repair and equipping of 26 gyms and the creation of 26 sports clubs in 43 educational organizations.
It is noted that the implementation of a pilot project is also continuing, which implies assigning patriotic education mentors to schools. For this, 375 general educational institutions participating in it have already chosen 416 mentors. Now the selection of candidates is underway, as of today 640 specialists have submitted applications for participation in the project. The selection results will be announced by the end of March.
