Since February 12, 2021, the occupancy rate of federal theatres, concert halls and circuses in St. Petersburg has increased from 50 per cent to 75 per cent, TASS reports with reference to the press service of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation.
It is noted that the decision to increase the occupancy rate was made on the basis of changes made to the resolution of the government of St. Petersburg on measures to counter the spread of the new coronavirus infection. It is expected that an increase in the attendance of these institutions will positively affect the emotional state of viewers.
It is reminded that earlier the governor of St. Petersburg, Alexander Beglov, signed a decree according to which up to 75 per cent of spectators can be admitted to sports and physical culture events, but no more than 25 thousand people. Until March 10, 2021, the requirements have been extended to coordinate events of more than 50 people with the relevant city committees.
