Stalin’s Bunker – One of Most Mysterious Museums in Russia

Stalin’s Bunker is one of the most mysterious museums in Samara which is located at a depth of 37 metres in the courtyard of the Samara State Academy of Culture and Arts, 63.ru reports.  

It is possible to visit the museum both in organized groups of up to 25 people and individually. For a personal tour, it is necessary to call and agree to join a group of the same individual visitors.

In total, there are 8 floors in the bunker. The guide is also the permanent director of the bunker Anatoly Soluyanov.

The cost of a tour as of September 2020 is 80 rubles. It is advised to prepare money in cash and without change.

The museum’s address is Frunze St, 167. It is usually open on weekdays from 11 am to 3 pm. The duration of an excursion is 45-50 minutes.

It is specified that the air temperature in the bunker is 18–20 degrees. Tourists are allowed to take pictures in all rooms where a tour is held but video shooting and voice recording are forbidden.
