The performance of dancers and Russian musician Anton Belyaev opened the 29th All-Russian Festival “Russian Student Spring” in Nizhny Novgorod, TASS reports.
Representatives of more than 40 regions took part in the student festival and exchanged ideas for self-realization. Russian musician and composer Anton Belyaev, who took part in the selection stage of the Eurovision-2021 music contest, was involved in writing the music for the opening ceremony.
The student show consisted of six main stages. Among them, a thematic block on the history of the city was presented. Folk singer Taisiya Krasnopevtseva performed at the ceremony, as well as the singer Victoria Zhuk who performed the composition to the accompaniment of the orchestra of the Nizhny Novgorod Conservatory and the academic choir of the Lobachevsky State University.
On Saturday, a festival town was also opened in Nizhny Novgorod, on the territory of which there are interactive and lounge zones, namely a VR zone, a wall for graffiti, an interactive zone about new technologies, a street market with local brands, art objects, photo zones, several sports zones, and recreation areas. There is also an online studio that will host experts, guest stars, and participants in the Russian Student Spring.
