Japan is Not Ready for Peaceful Relations With Russia – Kurils Dispute Stands on Way  

Japan will not sign a peace treaty with Russia in case the two countries can’t resolve their territorial dispute over the Southern Kurils, a group of four islands currently under the jurisdiction of Russia but claimed by Japan, as stated by the new Prime Minister of Japan Fumio Kishida.   “There will be no peace treaty
