Economists of the National Bank of Tatarstan have studied the prices of products for cooking Tatar cuisine for a family of four people. The list included tokmach soup, echpochmak, and gubadiya, KazanFirst reports. The total cost of a Tatar meal was 1,133 rubles, which is 4 per cent more than a year ago.
It is noted that in October 2020, it cost an average of 152 rubles to cook Tokmach with chicken (1 kg), boiled potatoes (400 g), and homemade noodles, which is 1.1 per cent more than a year earlier.
On average, the cost of cooking 10 echpochmaks with beef amounted to 426 rubles, which is 6.5 per cent more than last year. It is specified that a significant share in the cost of the dish is occupied by meat (600 g), the annual rate of increase in prices for which was 5.2 per cent.
Also, the average cost of cooking gubadia (250 grams of low-fat cottage cheese court and 1 kg of unleavened dough) with eggs, rice, and dried fruits at home amounted to 555 rubles, and the annual price increase was 3 per cent. In October, the annual increase in prices for butter in Tatarstan amounted to 1.6 per cent.
