As part of the “Cultural Environment” federal project since the beginning of the year, 40 pianos were sent to the children’s art schools of the Republic of Tatarstan, KazanFirst reports. The acquisition was carried out by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia and cost it more than 15 million rubles. The funds came from the “Culture” federal national project initiated by the President of the country Vladimir Putin.
It is noted that as part of the modernization, brass and woodwind instruments, xylophones, and drums were also updated. They were brought to 30 children’s schools in Tatarstan. Of them, 24 rural and 6 are in Kazan.
It is also mentioned that the national project “Culture” was developed as part of the implementation of the presidential decree “On National Goals and Strategic Objectives of the Development of the Russian Federation for the Period up to 2024”, the implementation of which began on January 1, 2019. In total, the “Culture” national project includes three federal projects. These are “Cultural Environment”, “Creative People”, and “Digital Culture”.
