In Tatarstan, families with 4 children received 13 thousand food packages. The programme of food assistance to large families during the coronavirus pandemic is being implemented by Magnit food retailer and Coca-Cola company with the support of the Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social Protection of Tatarstan.

Each food set includes 14 items of long-term food products, namely buckwheat, rice, sugar, pasta, canned fish and meat, sunflower oil, cookies, and others. Food parcels were packed and delivered to the recipients by the volunteers, among which was the Minister of Labour, Employment and Social Protection of Tatarstan Elmira Zaripova.
According to the minister, thousands of volunteers and hundreds of Tatarstan largest companies daily help those who need support and protection. Food aid is aimed at supporting 3,437 big families of Tatarstan. They will receive 13,748 food packages (one for each child). Delivery of sets will allow families to minimize their food expenses, as well as social contact frequency, and reduce the risk of coronavirus infection.
