Competition in tenders for obtaining rights to use subsoil plots increased by 222 per cent in 2020, TASS reported with reference to the press service of the RTS-Tender electronic trading platform. The use of subsoil involves geological study, exploration and production of minerals, construction, as well as the operation of underground structures not related to the extraction of minerals.
It is noted that in 2020, 41 lots for the amount of 406 million rubles were published on the RTS-tender platform, on average, competition in these purchases was at the level of 2.6 bids per lot, which exceeds the activity of participation last year by 222 per cent.
In the section of property auctions in 2020, the growing dynamics in the number of published lots was also shown by the auctions for the sale of wood obtained from the use of forests located on the lands of the forest fund. Compared to 2019, the number of such lots has increased by 7 times.
Also, the sale of forest plantations located on the lands of the forest fund, last year slightly lost its market positions. Thus, about 1.8 thousand lots for 164 million rubles were published on the platform, which is 17 per cent less in the number of lots and 14 per cent more in the aggregate initial price.
