The Federal Biomedical Agency of Russia introduced a test system for detecting coronavirus infection.
A small plate on which the reagents are applied will determine if there is a virus in a human body in just 15 minutes. The task of this development is to simplify and fasten the testing process as much as possible. They take the solution with the isolated RNA, which is fed with a small pipette, inserted into the device, and a reaction occurs. It is stated that the chip was developed just in a few weeks. The future technology is planned to be available for mass production.
