Moscow will expand therapy with modern drugs for cancer patients from the second quarter of 2020. This was announced by Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Social Development, Anastasia Rakova, during the Healthy Moscow assembly.
According to her, the effect of the new drugs will spread to four more types of cancer, including targeted and immune therapy. Medications effectively affect the patient’s immune system, the Moscow News Agency reports.
Earlier, it was noted that in April 2019, Moscow switched to the use of federal guidelines for the treatment of cancer of the breast, prostate, kidney, rectum, lung, and melanoma. Now the list will include four more types of cancer.
