According to the press service of the Moscow City Hall, to send letters to Father Frost (Russian Santa Claus) they have prepared 58 boxes that will be placed in 41 metropolitan parks. Citizens can recognize them by the inscription “Moscow Estate of Father Frost” and New Year’s decoration.
It is noted that the staff of the parks will ensure that the boxes with letters to Father Frost do not overflow. They plan to pick up mail every week. Snowmen-mailers will be engaged in the delivery of messages.
The mayor’s office reminded that the envelope or postcard should have the sender’s return address and postal code so that the letters would not remain unanswered.
A letter to Father Frost can also be sent at the offices of the Russian Post and on the estate’s website. In addition, New Year’s mailboxes can be found in leisure centers, children’s cafés, shopping and entertainment centers and other places of the city that are often visited by parents with children.
It will be possible to send letters until January 16, 2023.
As reminded, last year more than 63 thousand letters were delivered to the estate of Father Frost: 54 thousand paper and 9 thousand electronic ones.
