Russian experts have identified the best tourist destinations in the country that can compete with foreign ones, RIA News reports. The study was conducted by Otkrytie Bank specialists from July 3 to 7 and includes the information provided by 1,000 Russians.
The top 3 main tourist destinations in Russia, which can compete with foreign tourist destinations include Sochi (35% of Russians named this city), Crimea (30%), and St. Petersburg (16%). It is also noted that 13% of respondents consider Lake Baikal one of the most competitive places in Russia, while 11% voted for Altai, and another 9% voted for Moscow and Kazan.
