Specialists of the “OneTwoTrip” online travel service conducted a study and determined the directions that tourists choose for rail travel on February 23 most often, RIA News reports.
It is clarified that the experts analyzed the data of ticket bookings from February 21 to February 23, 2021. In the results of the analysis, it was noted that the average price of a travel document has decreased compared to the same period last year from 2.4 to 2.2 thousand rubles.
According to the research results, Moscow has become the most popular destination, a third of passengers go there, paying an average of 2.1 thousand rubles. Also, 15 per cent of tourists are going to visit St. Petersburg, which will cost them an average of 2.6 thousand rubles. Sochi was chosen by 3 per cent of travellers who are ready to spend an average of 2.8 thousand rubles on travel by train there.
