The directions for which the average prices for air tickets in October 2020 fell the most were named by the experts of the analytical centre of the travel service Tutu.ru. They analyzed data on reservations that Russians made in the period from August 1 to October 12, with departures from October 1 to October 31, VM.ru reports.
According to the experts, it has become cheaper to fly from Moscow to Orsk, the Orenburg region. In 2019, tickets to this city cost 9,651 rubles, and now their cost is 3,276 rubles. Also, tickets to Kurgan became almost 3 times cheaper (2,141 rubles), as well as tickets to Izhevsk, Nalchik, and St. Petersburg that now cost approximately half as much as before.
It is noted that the cost of the flight from St. Petersburg has decreased by 70 per cent (to 3,155 rubles). Almost the same decrease was recorded in Arkhangelsk, Ulyanovsk, Belgorod, Stavropol, Gelendzhik, Apatity, and Saratov.
As reported, Voronezh, Novosibirsk, Yoshkar-Ola, Yaroslavl, Anapa, Yekaterinburg, Elista, Moscow, Abakan, Mineralnye Vody, and Kemerovo were included in the group of cities where the prices for tickets fell by 30-40 per cent. It is specified that the lowest average check is offered for people flying out of Kazan (4,426 rubles).
