The Tourism Committee of the Moscow Region has compiled a list of the top 10 beaches in the region, where you can not only sunbathe and swim but also engage in various sports, Moscow Region Today reports.
Onion Lake in the Bogorodsky District is surrounded by a forest where you can pick mushrooms and berries, and the Kolomenka river offers a clean sandy beach. The beach of the M’lstra’L Hotel & SPA has sun loungers, speed boats, and catamarans for rent. The sandy beach of the Yakhonti Istra hotel offers several sports fields, a heated pool, and tubing.
On the Malibu beach in Mytishchi, there is a VIP-zone on pontoons with pools, bars, and palm trees. Torbeevo Lake is the best for family vacations; on the embankment of Lake Senezh in Solnechnogorsk, there are piers, moorings, an amphitheater for sunbathing, a workout area, and a cycling route.
The top list also includes Rublevsky beach just a kilometer from Moscow, Golden Sands in Orekhovo-Zuevo, and the park Sunny Beach in Taldom.
