“The ‘Cordon.Pro’ M complex is the first in the region […]. The main advantage of the new complex is its ability to be placed in a car to fix violations while driving in traffic. It will be used in places where accidents are concentrated and on potentially dangerous sections of regional roads,” the press service of the regional government said.

The complex was implemented as part of the national project “Safe and High-Quality Roads”. It is a domestic development, which can also be used as a stationary or mobile, when installed on the side of the road. In addition to fixing speeding or parking in prohibited places, the equipment is also capable of detecting such violations as an unbuckled seat belt and violations of overtaking rules.

“In every second case, accidents occur due to speeding, skidding, driving into the oncoming lane. The measures taken annually make it possible to reduce the number of accidents,” the press service quotes the words of the Minister of Transport and Road Management of the Tula region Rodion Dudnik.

Currently, there are 216 stationary and 35 mobile photo-video complexes operating on the roads of the Tula region. With their help, in 2021, more than 4 million violations, 33 places of concentration of accidents, and 141 more potentially dangerous places were identified.
