The authorities of Turkey, Egypt, and Tunisia confirmed that the countries are waiting for Russian tourists, which was reported to journalists in the press service of the Federal Tourism Agency.
The day before, the Head of the Federal Tourism Agency, Zarina Doguzova, had a conversation with the Minister of Tourism of the Tunisian Republic Mohamed Moez Belhassine. He stressed that the Tunisian authorities do not plan to impose any restrictions on Russia, and expressed interest in increasing the Russian tourist flow.
In addition, the Head of Rostourism recently held talks with the Ministers of Tourism of Egypt and Turkey, Khaled Elenani and Mehmet Ersoy. They assured that they are interested in cooperation with the Russian Federation and there are no plans to introduce any restrictions for Russian tourists in these countries.
“It is very important that colleagues have expressed their support, are open to cooperation, and the three most popular mass destinations remain available for the recreation of our citizens,” Doguzova concluded.
