The governor of the Tver region, Igor Rudenya, plans to encourage a student of the 11th grade of a local school, who continued the march without a slipped boot during the solemn procession on Victory Day, TASS reports with reference to the press service of the regional government.
It is clarified that the girl was marching in the ranks during the solemn passage of troops in honour of the 76th anniversary of the Great Victory in the city of Tver. During the procession, her boot flew off, but she did not lose her step and continued to march in one boot. Currently, the eleventh-grader is in her second year of initial military training within the framework of a cadet company, including shooting from a Kalashnikov assault rifle. So, the Governor decided to reward the participant who has shown real self-control.
