Urals Drivers Arranged Races to Check Skills After Quarantine

The drivers from the Sverdlovsk, Tyumen, and Chelyabinsk regions arranged car races for the first time since the start of the pandemic, e1.ru reported.

The organizer of the race, Yana Krupyanko,  said that 45 drivers from the Yekaterinburg, Sverdlovsk, Tyumen, and Chelyabinsk regions competed for the title of the fastest one.

The drivers competed in 5 classes, namely “Standard”, “Tuning”, “Classic”, “Free”, and “Sport”. It is specified that Yekaterinburg residents got into the top three in all classes except the “Tuning”.

Each participant went through an introduction to the track, then qualification for time and a duel on the Olympic grid with an opponent. The peculiarity of such a “duel” format is that the best time on the track is only a qualifying round. And rewarding is formed only on the basis of the results of the fight with an opponent.
