In January of this year, US intelligence agencies recruited 60 militants in Syria, who are planned to be thrown into Russia and other CIS countries to commit terrorist attacks, the Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR) reported.
“According to reliable data received by the SVR, the US military is actively recruiting militants of jihadist groups affiliated with the Islamic State and Al-Qaeda to commit terrorist attacks on the territory of Russia and in the CIS countries,” the Service said.
According to the SVR, the Americans pay special attention to attracting immigrants from Central Asian countries and North Caucasian regions of Russia to cooperation. Terrorists who already have experience of participating in hostilities in the Middle East are now being rapidly trained at the American base Al-Tanf in Syria.
“There they are taught the skills of making and using improvised explosive devices, as well as methods of conducting sabotage and subversive activities. Special attention is paid to the planning of attacks on well-guarded facilities, including foreign diplomatic missions,” the Service reported.
In the near future, the US plans to send them to Russia and other CIS countries as part of small groups, it is said. After that, the militants will have to carry out terrorist attacks against diplomats, civil servants, law enforcement officers and military personnel.
At the same time, according to the plan of the US military, they will organize attacks together with underground cells of international terrorist groups (prohibited in Russia), including Hizb ut-Tahrir, Jamaat Ansarullah, and the Islamic Movement of Uzbekistan.
“We see the final loss of any moral principles in the US power structures. Being obsessed with the insane idea of ‘exsanguination’ of Russia, Washington strategists consider it permissible to directly use terrorists for their dirty purposes,” the department stressed, adding that by such actions, the United States puts itself on a par with the largest international terrorist groups.
Earlier, last week, the Chairman of the Russian State Duma, Vyacheslav Volodin, noted that Joe “Biden writes himself into history as a terrorist” as well. He based his statement on the results of the investigation of Pulitzer Prize winner Seymour Hersh who pointed on the USA to be the organizer of the sabotage accident on the Nord Streams.
“The published facts should become the basis for an international investigation, bringing Biden and his accomplices to justice, as well as compensation payments to the countries affected by the terrorist attack,” he said then.
