Sales of used passenger cars under the age of three grew sharply amid a shortage of new cars in the Novosibirsk region, VN.ru reports. The average cost of such cars, compared to the third quarter of last year, increased by 47% and amounted to 1,290,000 rubles.
According to Avito.Avto advertising portal, the sales of used cars under the age of three in the Novosibirsk region increased by 70% in the third quarter of 2020 compared to the previous quarter. According to the experts, in Russia as a whole, cars under the age of three in the secondary car market were bought 63% more often than in the second quarter, and 19% more often than a year ago.
The leader of the sales became Toyota Land Cruiser Prado with an average price of 3,797,000 rubles. The second place occupied Toyota Camry (the average price is 1,999,000 rubles). The third was KIA Rio (the average price is 725,000 rubles). The top 5 also included Lexus RX (3,738,000 rubles) and Hyundai Solaris (745,000 rubles).
