Veterans of the Great Patriotic War will receive payments in the amount of 75 thousand rubles by Victory Day, according to chelTV.
Earlier, such payments did not exceed 10 thousand rubles, but this year it was announced that they will increase the amount in honour of the 75th anniversary. The President of Russia signed a decree that this money will be received by disabled and veterans of the Great Patriotic War, people who were imprisoned in concentration camps, ghettos or other places of forced detention, being a minor during the Second World War.
In addition, the widows and widowers of servicemen who died during the war with Finland, Japan, and the Great Patriotic War will be able to receive the payment. The rear workers will be awarded 50 thousand rubles each. The Pension Fund noted that in general, payments to veterans will require about 60 billion rubles.
