On the eve of Victory Day in Moscow, a special action “Victory Flowers” was held. Volunteers laid flowers at the war memorials of the city instead of veterans who traditionally used to do this but now cannot leave their houses due to the self-isolation regime, the official website of the Moscow Mayor reports.

During a telephone survey, volunteers asked veterans where they would like to lay flowers. After that, the flower laying ceremonies took place at many famous monuments and at the graves of war veterans. The veterans were reported about fulfilling requests by phone.
