A pilot project has started in five Moscow hospitals, which introduced a voice assistant based on artificial intelligence which will collect complaints from patients by phone before seeing a therapist, the official website of the city mayor reports.
It is specified that the voice assistant is integrated with the chatbot, which has been conducting an interview in text form since February 2021. Now Muscovites can answer all the necessary questions using a voice assistant over the phone or manually in text format using a chatbot.
The assistant will interview patients before admission and upload information on health complaints to the United Medical Information and Analytical System of Moscow (EMIAS). Thanks to this, a doctor will be able to devote more time to directly examining a patient. It is planned that following the results of the pilot project, a decision will be made to expand the project to other medical institutions.
