A large shelter for cats and dogs is expected to appear on the outskirts of Yekaterinburg, reports e1.ru. It will open its doors with the help of the “Happiness to Home” fund, which united the centres for helping dogs of northern sled breeds (“HuskyEkb”), dogs of service breeds (“Rotvodom”) and cats (“CatsEkb”).

To implement this idea, in the outskirts of Yekaterinburg, where husky and cats already live, will be built a large complex with warm aviaries, special places for injured animals, and a groomer’s office. The complex for dogs will be opened in late spring; cats already had a housewarming party.
According to the creator of the HuskyEkb shelter, Anastasia Kudryavtseva, the team will work on a regular basis; she hopes that the intensified work on socializing the wards of the shelter will allow them to go home faster and adapt in new families easier.
