The VTB’s clients have issued 50,000 preferential mortgage loans under the state programme for over 150 billion rubles. The bank is ready to fully meet the demand of its borrowers for loans at 6.1 per cent, according to the press service of the bank.
The largest share of sales under preferential mortgages is formed in the Moscow region (28% by the number of transactions and 48% by the volume of loans). In total, in Moscow and the region, borrowers issued 13.8 thousand loans for 71.5 billion rubles. Also, quite active were the residents of St. Petersburg and the region (the volume of loans exceeded 18 billion rubles), the Republic of Tatarstan (6.2 billion), the Novosibirsk region (5 billion), and the Krasnodar Territory (4.5 billion).
It is specified that the average loan size under the programme is 3.1 million rubles, with an average down payment of 33%. The size of the initial payment under the programme “Mortgage With State Support” is from 15% of the cost of the acquired object. The maximum loan amount is 12 million rubles for Moscow and the region, St. Petersburg and the Leningrad region, and 6 million rubles for the rest of the country. The maximum possible term for a loan is up to 30 years.
