Starting January 18, 2021, the VTB bank will triple the maximum amount of a one-time transfer through the Fast Payment System for its clients, to 150 thousand rubles. In addition, the monthly limit has grown almost seven times, up to 2 million rubles. Previously, these amounts were 50 thousand and 300 thousand rubles, respectively, the press service of the bank reports.
Also, VTB has increased the maximum amount of a single card-to-card transfer to other countries. Now it is 150 thousand rubles instead of 100 thousand rubles. By the end of 2022, the bank plans to increase the number of active users of VTB Online by 1.5 times, up to 15 million customers.
“VTB customers are increasingly using the Fast Payment System – they make over 6.3 million monthly transfers worth over 38 billion rubles,” the Senior Vice President of VTB, the Head of the Digital Business Department, Nikita Chugunov, said.
Currently, VTB Online users can send money to bank cards in more than 100 CIS countries and far abroad. The leaders in terms of the number of transfers are Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Belarus, Armenia, Azerbaijan, and Moldova.
