VTB Leasing has summed up its operating results for the Q1 of 2021. During this period, the company entered into 6.8 thousand new contracts, which is 14.7 per cent more compared to the same period last year, so that as of April 1, the volume of new business amounted to 19.8 billion rubles, the press service of the bank reports.
The key drivers of VTB Leasing’s business development in the Q1 of 2021 were cars and trucks (74.9 per cent of new business), as well as special equipment (20.2 per cent). The new business in car leasing grew by 43 per cent by the Q1 of 2020 and amounted to 14.8 billion rubles.
The most dynamically developing segment in the indicated period was the segment of freight transport (+83 per cent), which amounted to 6.4 billion rubles. In the passenger car segment, the new business grew by over 23 per cent to 8.4 billion rubles. In the segment of special equipment, the new business amounted to 4 billion rubles.
It is specified that the bulk of the new business fell on the Central and Volga Federal Districts and Moscow. The most dynamic business of the company grew in the North Caucasus (+162 per cent) and South (+107 per cent) federal districts.
