On the eve of International Women’s Day, Russian insurance company (Rosgosstrakh) and Otkrytie Bank found out that women are more responsible for house insurance than men, om1.ru reports.
An analysis of the profiles of more than 2.5 million clients of Rosgosstrakh, who entered into property insurance contracts in 2019, has shown that women are more likely to think about insurance protection for their property against unforeseen unpleasant situations.
In 59% of insurance policies for houses, cottages, apartments, and household property, women are listed as insurers, and in 41% are men. The ratio is approximately the same among the clients of the insurer who have drawn up the insurance contract at the offices of Otkrytie Bank, 56% of women and 44% of men.
