The youth festival “Muus Ustar” (“Icebreaker”) will be held in Yakutsk and will become annual, TASS reports. The name of the event symbolizes the change from frosty winter to warm spring.

According to the Head of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), Aisen Nikolayev, software support based on artificial intelligence will be used for the first time at the festival site, which will identify patients with a COVID-19 cough at the entrance to the site in the Triumph sports training centre. It is specified that this is the development of Russian scientists.
It is reported that already 12 thousand people have registered for the festival online. The event itself will be attended by about 4 thousand people. The aim of the festival is to support the talent, creativity and progressiveness of young people. As part of the event, discussions are planned to be held on how to start a business, as well as a presentation of an art cluster and new projects of Yakut filmmakers will be organized, together with e-sports competitions, masterclasses for figure skaters, programmers, various contests, exhibitions, and concerts.
