Two new Orlan-10 unmanned aerial vehicles were delivered to the rescuers of the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug, Radio Sputnik reports.
“These devices which we received are already in service with us. The guys are working, strengthening their skills. They also carry out prospecting work, monitoring the forest fire situation,” the Head of Yamalspas, Aleksey Glushkov, said.
Including the new supply, the team has four drones at their disposal. Two of them are deployed in Salekhard, two more will be transferred to Tarko-Sale. It is specified that the range of the drone allows it to cover a thousand kilometres.
According to the operator of the Yamalspas unmanned aerial vehicle, Aleksey Kalinichenko, a special ground control complex, antennas and repeaters, is also supplied with the Orlans.
