Yandex for the first time published a report with data on Russian users, satisfying the request of government agencies. The document includes information about users for the second half of 2019 and the first half of 2020.
According to the information provided, from January to June 2020, the company received 15,376 requests, 2,468 of which were rejected. Most of the applications were related to the Mail and Passport services (8,867, with 1,124 rejected). Also, 5,280 requests were received on the topic “Taxi” (1,167 rejected). Between July and December 2019, the company received 14,638 requests (2,410 rejected). At that time, citizens were interested in the same topics as nowadays.
