At the Ural Locomotives plant on October 20, the construction of an industrial complex for the production of high-speed electric trains was solemnly started. The first train will be manufactured in 2023, e1 reports. In total, about 10-12 billion rubles will be invested in the new project.

It is noted that new trains will be able to reach speeds of up to 360 km/h. They will be used on the high-speed highway Moscow – St. Petersburg. The first train is planned to be produced by 2023, and by 2025 the train will be certified and presented to customers at Russian Railways. It is specified that the investments in the project will amount to 10-12 billion rubles.
