The Department of Culture, Sports and Youth Policy of the Novosibirsk Mayor’s Office and the Russian State Animation Studio “Soyuzmultfilm” have signed a cooperation agreement, the press centre of the city mayor’s office reported.
It is noted that as part of the agreement, a methodological centre will be created on the basis of the “Poisk” children’s film studio which will allow children to undergo pre-university training in the field of animation. Thus, it is planned to create a three-stage training system for animators, which will begin in city art schools, in which separate areas of animation will be opened.
“We want our programme to be included in the educational process of art schools in Novosibirsk and Russia,” the Deputy Mayor, Anna Tereshkova, said.
It is specified that after studying at the school of arts, students should continue their education at the Novosibirsk State Art School, and after that, at the Novosibirsk State Pedagogical University.
