The results of the impersonal scientific and technical expertise of the competition of youth innovative projects of the National Research Nuclear University ‘MEPhI’ Technopark “Umnik 2020” were announced by the expert commission, VM.ru reports.
It is specified that the expertise of projects was carried out from November 16 to November 23, 2020. According to its results, the developments of young scientists from different cities of Russia were admitted to the final. On December 10, 2020, finalists presented their projects to the competition jury. As a result, 252 young scientists became the winners, who will receive funding to implement their ideas.
Among the Moscow project, the student of the National University of Science and Technology (MISiS), Timur Khaidarov, who proposed technology for processing zinc-containing waste by the method of hydrogen metallization, was named. Another student, from the same university, Daria Petrova, created an intelligent system for determining free parking spaces in the courtyards of houses. It is specified that these students have already received grants in the amount of 500 thousand rubles.
